 Our
Canopy Tour over 11 Waterfalls is
the ONLY canopy tour in Costa Rica
that actually crosses waterfalls. In
addition, it offers two safe rappels
equipped with a breaking system
designed, constructed and tested by
the owner himself, which ensures
that while you take in the
breathtaking ripping cascades from a
bird’s eye view, your safety is
never in question. Our canopy
tour takes place right in the
jungle; therefore you are totally
surrounded by nature during the
tour. The exceptional location of
Hotel Vista Golfo in Montes de Oro,
Costa Rica makes it an
ideal setting for explorers,
adventurers, and nature lovers. The
tour begins with a relaxing
horseback ride through
amazing
scenery. Alternatively you can do
the tour to the first zip line
platform on the back of our pick-up.

 This
Canopy Tour is ideal for a family outing. It includes
zip lines of various levels of difficulty, therefore
every member of the family can participate. For younger
children, our guides can accompany them across zip
lines, ensuring that the break properly and maintain a
comfortable speed. This Canopy Tour stretches
impressively over the valley offering a breathtaking
view of the Gulf of Nicoya. It includes a 700m long zip
line that is certain to give you an adrenalin rush. On
this tour you will get to see the forest and fruit
plantations. In addition, you will probably get the
chance to see howler monkeys, sloths, agoutis, raccoons,
and loads of birds. Also while walking the short
distance between platforms you can learn interesting
facts about Costa Rica’s flora and fauna.

over 2 cables including our longest cable (700 meter)
under the stars while taking in the creepy sounds of the

Thousands of satisfied customers have experienced our
unique Canopy Tour over 11 waterfalls, as well as our
Canopy Tour “Finca Daniel”, spanning a period of 8
years, without any incident. Based on this 100% record
of safety since inception, our system ranks as one of
the safest in the country.
We employ a system of thick cables spanning from one
tree to another. Our cable can support up to 12 tons of
weight, which is equivalent to the total amount of
weight that other systems, which use two skinny cables,
can support. The advantage of our double strength cable
system is the added stability of the ride you will
experience. You will be attached to the cable through a
full body harness, and this harness is firmly secured to
the steel pulley with a double connection of two
carabineers and slings. You can be sure of a secure but
adrenalin filled ride. Various safety institutions test
our system and this ensures that it is always in perfect
condition. In addition, our licensed and well-trained
guides continuously inspect every aspect of the canopy
system, nipping any potential mechanical problems in the
bud. At the end of every zip line there is an emergency
breaking system that helps you to stop if you don’t use
the gloves provided to stop yourself. This breaking
system was invented by us and is now widely used by
other canopy tour operators.

General information
We recommend that you contact us before your arrival to reserve a
date and time.
You should come prepared with a t-shirt, long sleeved pants,
swimming suit, insect repellant and camera. All other equipment is supplied by
us.
